GENERAL
What security systems are in place?
We have CCTV throughout the building and doors are secured with electronic fob access for residents.
We also have emergency call system monitoring with emergency help buttons at fixed points throughout the community. Read our article to learn more about the safety and security features at Bellbird on High.
Can I book a shared area to host a party?
You’re welcome to use any shared space at Bellbird on High. Private gatherings in spaces including the cinema, private dining room, gym or on the rooftop can be booked through the Concierge.
What kind of activities are there at Bellbird on High?
Events being planned for currently include morning and afternoon tea, weekly happy hours, barbecues, weekly movement classes and gatherings that coincide with times of the year such as big sporting events or cultural celebrations. Activities such as film club, book club, art classes, walking groups, visiting speakers, card groups and more will be arranged according to the particular interests of Bellbird residents.
What care services are available?
We can facilitate a range of services through our preferred providers to enhance wellbeing, including:
- Cleaning, laundry, cooking and shopping
- Personal care (assistance with hygiene, dressing and mobility)
- Companionship and social support
- Palliative and respite care
- 24/7 live-in care
- Registered nursing services
- Other services tailored to your needs
- Assistance in developing care plans and sourcing government-funded options.

What are the staffing arrangements?
Our management team and staff, including Village Manager, Concierge and Groundskeeper, will be available to make living here as enjoyable and effortless as possible.
Who manages the community?
Management, administration and operations of the village will be provided by One Fell Swoop, on behalf of The SHC Group. One Fell Swoop is an organisation specialising in seniors’ living, with decades of experience in the sector. They will also facilitate resident meetings as well as reporting and compliance with the Retirement Villages Act.
Can I move my furniture in before settlement?
Yes, please speak to the Sales or Village Manager to discuss.
Will there be help available when it’s time to move?
We can provide moving in and downsizing advice and co-ordination with removalists, utility and technology connections and redirection of mail.
Will there be a residents’ committee?
As per the Retirement Villages Act, residents may choose to establish a residents’ committee or not. Some residents’ committees organise outings, social and recreational activities. They establish their own meeting procedures and decide how often to meet. They can also call a meeting of all residents at the community.
THE APARTMENTS
What size are the apartments?
One, two and three-bedroom apartments are available, ranging in size from 84 to 230 sqm (internal + balconies).
Are the apartments energy efficient?
Yes, energy saving measures in place include double glazed windows and LED lights. Also there are rooftop solar panels to offset common area electricity and rainwater harvesting tanks for use in watering the common area gardens.
Is there additional storage?
All apartments come with secure storage cages, most measuring between three and six sqm.
What phone, internet and TV connection will be provided?
Personal communications within your apartment can be connected through Lightning Broadband.
Can I bring my pet or get one later?
Yes of course. Pets are welcome as long as they don’t disturb other residents. Please note that bringing pets to Bellbird on High is subject to our pet policy and prior approval.
Can I have guests to stay?
Yes of course. This is your home and you’re welcome to host guests just as you would now. We ask that if you have visitors staying a few nights that you let management know for security reasons. Our village rules, created to ensure all residents enjoy the community, covers this.
What are the garbage arrangements?
There are bin chutes on each floor to provide for a variety of different types of waste.
Can I have meals, groceries and the newspaper delivered to my apartment?
External deliveries can be let up to your floor via the internal intercom system. If the delivery is during business hours, the Concierge can accept deliveries and will notify you.
PARKING
Do I receive a dedicated car space with my apartment?
Yes, all apartments come with at least one car space, and some of our larger three-bedroom apartments come with two car spaces.
Is there EV charging?
There are four EV charging spaces in the ground floor car park. Should you wish to add a charging point to your own car park, this is subject to approval and will incur an additional fee.
What’s the height of the carpark?
The maximum height clearance is 2.1 metres.
